Gov. Baker joins Safe Homes Coalition to fight against drug abuse

BOSTON (WHDH) – Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is joined the Safe Homes Coalition on Wednesday to talk about the fight against prescription drug abuse.

The group announced a series of partnerships in Greater Boston to help reduce the number of overdose deaths that happen in Massachusetts because of prescription drugs.

Safe Homes Coalition launches to combat medication misuse, opioid addiction

BOSTON-Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker speaks Wednesday in the Massachusetts Statehouse during the Safe Home Coalition launch in Boston to address prescription drug misuse.

Aiming to reduce the misuse and abuse of prescription medications in the Greater Boston area, anti-drug organization Safe Homes Coalition launched a program Wednesday to help combat the opioid addiction epidemic in Massachusetts.
